Lois Kassana
Founder/Managing director
Lois is a renewable energy lawyer with an LLM in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Aberdeen and more than five years of experience as a transactional advisor and negotiator in the public and private sectors, as well as a thorough understanding of the renewable energy market's complexity. She specialises in the structuring of various energy transactions and has led and supported numerous PPA discussions in the East African region.
She previously worked for the Rwanda Development Board in the Transactions Structuring and Support Department, where she was in charge of structuring, reviewing, negotiating, conducting due diligence, and concluding strategic investments in key development sectors such as energy, information technology, education, health, and infrastructure, among others.
Dr. Jonathan Mwanda
Co-founder
Dr Mwanda possesses a thorough understanding of the energy sector, thanks to a PhD and a Master's degree in Oil and Gas Chemistry. His academic studies have given him a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of energy production, refining, and distribution, as well as a strong emphasis on efficiency, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
